Catechist

Catechists are needed for 2018-2019 in:

Grades 5


Faith Companion 

(a one-on-one classroom pairing

to assist a special needs student) 


Hall Monitor


Children's Liturgy of the Word

Minister or Supervisor

(Sundays - 10:00 a.m. Mass only) 


All Archdiocesan clergy (priests and deacons), adult employees, and volunteers must be in compliance with the Charter for the Protection

of Children and Young People. This includes a completed background check, attendance at

safe environment training on the sexual abuse

of children, a signed Code of Conduct, and the submission of a Child Abuse and Neglect

Tracking System (CANTS) form to the

Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Over 120,000 adult employees and volunteers across the Archdiocese of Chicago have attended Protecting God’s Children for Adults (VIRTUS) training.
